Clear, concise and to the point, that is not easy to do when you need to cover so much information to a wide audience at different levels of their Epic Retirement. Well Done and Thank you. I learned a huge amount about how the super system and age-pension works and and especially how to prepare financially and personally for a staged retirement (hate that word!). I have a bit over a year to go until I hit the big 7-O, but through your help I am much more relaxed and confident about dealing with the various challenges and opportunities. It has been an intense 6 weeks, and oddly I feel a sense of loss now it is done. I will be going back over the materials again as I take the time to do the work thoughtfully. I appreciate all the insights from you, Bec, your guest speakers, and the community of participants. Pearls of wisdom dropped in so many different ways. The content was on point, the engagement throughout the course was real, the community demonstrated real vulnerability in opening up to you and each other. I have given copies of your book to others, one of whom is planning to book into your next course. My 10-years retired husband has been trying to get me to engage in retirement planning for a long time, but nothing I saw or read was very accessible and always focused on the financial. Your whole-of-life perspective was new and refreshing. Your writing and speaking style simplifies complex topics and invokes a sense of enthusiasm I never thought I would have for retirement planning! Loved the course and the book. I've now had a meeting with my accountant and have so many fantastic strategies in place with my SMSF.  I'd always thought that when we retired I would just take out all of our super, I didn't realise the advantage to leaving it there.  I didn't understand accumulation and pension phases and I certainly hadn't considered making extra contributions.  You have changed my whole way of looking at superannuation and retirement and my husband and I are extremely excited for what's coming.  Thank you again.

It's funny, I worked as a secretary for accountants for so many years of my working life, thought I knew everything there was to know financially but now realise that I just never understood how superannuation worked at all.  I hope that there are a lot more people out there having a-ha moments like I have.
